| Although the Lexterten range of furniture we purchased was in some cases up to 20% more expensive we feel that Lexterten provide quality furniture which far outlasts other supposedly quality furniture. We purchased a cloth/leather 3 Seater, 2 Seater and chair five years ago, the chair had to be thrown out 18 months ago, it had collapsed, the three seater loose cushion sofa was very uncomfortable and the cushions were starting to look worn. We paid nearly £3000 for this furniture from SCS (Chester). We had it repaired on three/four occasions, prior to this. To get any service done, we had to fill out a questionnaire and we had to wait weeks for a service rep to come to perform repairs. We have had the previous Lexterten furniture, purchased from James Brown Leather in Chester in 1987. We only got rid of this when the chair springs had collapsed. We are hopful that htis furniture lasts as long as the previous Lexterten units. |
