Lexterten manufacture high quality hand-made furniture in a traditional style.  The product range is extensive and covers elegant classic designs from the 18th Century suitable for the lounge, dining room, study/office, hall and bedroom.

As Lexterten furniture is sold direct from the factory, we manage to keep our prices very keen, saving approx 1/3 on equivalent high street prices.  Our personal delivery service, in our own liveried vehicles, covers the whole of the country.  All items are made to order so we can offer a very flexible service and an almost infinite choice of upholstery fabrics.  We are regularly complimented on the friendliness of our customer service and delivery teams.

Very little manufacturing is done in the UK these days - the majority of furniture is mass-produced and imported.  As we make to order we can colour-match pieces to existing furniture and are generally able to offer a far more bespoke service to our customers. 

Since the relaunch of Lexterten, we have expanded our premises, doubling our production facilities and invested heavily both in new technology and in highly trained staff.  Our upholstery, polishing and veneering departments have all expanded significantly to meet the demand for our product.

We have a showroom at our factory in Westgate-on-Sea which is open to the public from Monday to Saturday 9-5pm.

We are planning to introduce some new styles to complement the existing range.  Details of these will be posted onto our new website as they become available.  We are finding our French-style limed furniture to be very popular and it is encouraging that our customers are keen to experiment with exciting new fabrics, giving a new twist to some classic styles.
